We will provide transportation between Pucallpa and the retreat center. Once at the center, everything you need is included.

  • It’s true that no one else can do this work for you, but having experienced healers and guides can make all the difference.

Maestros Silvia and Noe come from the Shipibo lineage - an indigenous group from the Peruvian Amazon that has worked with Ayahuasca for hundreds of years. The lineage is typically passed down within the family, with the maestros apprenticing and studying under a master for many many years before serving medicine themselves.

Each a genuine master in their own right, Silvia and Noe have been serving medicine together for over 20 years. During that time, they often spent months apart when they would be hired separately to work at renowned Ayahuasca centers all around the world, such as Soltara and The Temple of the Way of Light.

Now, they are proud to host guests at a center of their very own, where they grow, prepare and serve Ayahuasca together. In the Shipibo tongue, the center’s name Ronin Jointi means “The Heart of the Anaconda”

  • The facilitators feel that preparation and integration as just as important, if not more, than what happens during ceremony itself.

We promise that you will have everything you need to make the most of this experience.

It is said that the medicine starts working from the moment that the decision is made to sit with Mother Ayahuasca. The weeks leading up to the retreat are already an important part of the ceremony, and you will receive detailed resources on how to prepare your body, mind and spirit for the medicine. We will cover intention setting, meditation practices, following the dieta and more, providing personalized support through our group chat and email.

After the retreat, we help you to integrate the lessons and insights from your experience through our integration portal, follow-up calls and ongoing support through email and chat.

  • Our retreat is kept intentionally small to ensure that each participant gets the most out of their experience.

The application process consists of a short intake form followed by an in-depth call with the facilitators.

This allows us to ensure the safety of guests participating in our sacred ceremonies, and to make sure that the retreat is the right fit for you.

Further, this helps us to get to know you ahead of the retreat, so we can better support you throughout the entire experience.

  • The retreat is not only an investment into yourself and your healing, but also your future.

Our retreat is priced at $2750 USD, and includes everything you need to thrive before, during and after the experience.

After the intake assessment, we ask for a $850 USD deposit (non-refundable) to secure your spot. The rest is to be paid in cash directly at the retreat to the maestros.

Our Private Jungle Sanctuary - Ronin Jointi Healing Center

Constructed according to the vision of Silvia and Noe, this intimate and unassuming retreat center lies in the heart of Peru, about 90 minutes outside of Pucallpa. Tucked away near a beautiful laguna, surrounded by nature and enveloped in the sounds of the jungle, this site offers a remarkably pure and authentic immersion into traditional plant medicine.

Like many traditional retreat centers in Peru, Ronin Jointi (which means “The Heart of the Anaconda” in the native Shipibo language) is rather simple.

There is sparse electricity, little to no cell service and no wifi. There is no hot water. There is little here that our ancient ancestors would not recognize. Except for running water and a flushing toilet, we do have that.

The humble amenities at this site offer you a chance to disconnect from the tumult and uncertainty of our world and turn your gaze inwards. The jungle invites you to slow down, to see Mother Earth with fresh eyes, and to breathe with the trees.

Undisturbed nature, the sounds of the jungle, stunning sunrises over the laguna, sky full of stars, walks through the forest, nights in community by the fire, held in ceremony … this is a raw and deep connection to nature itself, to the medicine, the Maestros and to the core of who you are.

Retreat Reviews

Meet your Facilitators

The facilitators are here to support you every step of the way. From thinking about working with ayahuasca and the preparation period, to supporting you at the retreat as well as holding space for the weeks and months of integration.

  • My path of spiritual development began in high school when I found the book Siddhartha, and I knew there was something more to life than the typical American lifestyle.

My course remained a traditional one for some time, though I felt a calling towards helping others heal which led me to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy.

Always fascinated with neuroscience, psychology and human behavior, I began to explore my own consciousness with psychedelics in grad school. After working for a year in the traditional medical system, I became thoroughly disillusioned with the traditional approach to “healthcare” and started my own business to bring my holistic point of view to my fellow Brazilian Jiu Jitsu athletes.

In 2020, fate aligned a Jiu Jitsu camp in Costa Rica that I was attending perfectly with the timing of an Ayahuasca retreat at Soltara, where I met Cordi. Our relationship bloomed through a shared spiritual connection to Bhakti Yoga & the Bhagavad Gita, and the healing power of Mother Ayahuasca.

Inspired by the path of Silvia and Noe, I deeply know that Mother Aya brought Cordi and I together to support each other in our own healing, and to help spread these gifts to the world.

  • Born and raised in Austria, Cordi always felt there was more to life than the traditional path. After university, she found herself in a deep identity crisis, and left her home country Austria in search for meaning and purpose.

In 2017, she found herself in the mountains of Ecuador where she was being initiated into the path of yoga and plant medicines. As she witnessed her heart, body, and mind opening through daily practice and devotion, a spark ignited in her.

Her path would take her all around the world for another 5 years; learning and studying under different masters of ancient philosophy, yoga and consciousness medicines so she could share the practices that gave her so much meaning and faith.

In 2019, she connected with maestra Silvia at Soltara Healing Center. Having a challenging and deeply transformative experience with the medicine, she felt a strong connection with the maestra right from the start.

After returning to Soltara as a yoga instructor, meditation teacher and retreat assistant in 2021, once again working closely with the Shipibo for months, she felt a calling to deepen her connection to the medicine.

In the summer of 2021, she went to Pucallpa to diet with Silvia and Noe, spending 3 weeks privately with them as they were starting to build their center. Working with ayahuasca right at the source, experiencing a more traditional way of life, connecting with other plants was deeply transformative and her wish is to continue to support the maestros as well as facilitate this experience for small groups.

Cordi is working closely with Silvia and Noe to help offer a unique and authentic medicine retreat experience, and to connect their powerful healing to more and more people who need it.

Her role at the retreat is to organize the logistics, and support the preparation and integration process. Cordi is currently pregnant and is taking a break from facilitating during the retreat.

 Your Healing Builds The Future

  • Sitting in ceremony at Ronin Jointi Healing Center goes far beyond your own personal healing journey.

    WHAT MAKES RONIN JOINTI UNIQUE?

Many Ayahuasca centers operate as a for-profit corporation. They may try to honor the medicine, but at the end of the day decisions are made to benefit shareholders and limit the company’s liability. This means Maestros are paid only a fraction of what the center charges, and are restricted in how they can interact with guests.

    Ronin Jointi operates very differently.

Owned by the Maestros themselves and operated with help of their family, on their family’s own land, every cent earned contributes toward their vision of the future for their center, their work, and their community. And this future represents a way forward in which the land and people of the Amazon get back as much as they give us.

  • Funds generated by hosting retreats are directly reinvested in the expansion of the center, to be able to host more guests and transform more lives.

And not only are the Maestros expanding the infrastructure, but they aim to expand the literal size of the jungle; they recently purchased an adjacent plot of abandoned farmland which today lies barren and burned, but in time Maestro Noe aims to cultivate an orchard of medicinal plants.

A BRIGHTER FUTURE FOR THE YOUNGER GENERATION

This vision extends beyond the structures and the land to the very people of the Shipibo community and the serving of medicine itself. While many young people are fleeing rural areas in search of work in bigger cities, the Maestros are creating a viable future for the next generation right at home. They’re currently training their daughter and her partner to follow in their footsteps as Maestros, and the operation of the center employs a number of their family members. Beyond even this, Maestro Noe dreams of a day when he can operate a school to pass on his vast knowledge of healing plants to Shipibo children, keeping his ancestral knowledge alive.
